About FaithCamp

FaithCamp began in 2007 when Natalie Wood, co-founder of Jesus for Asia, said, “We should do our own camp meeting.” The first one was held in Idaho on the private land of Jon’s parents. Since then, there have been over 50 FaithCamps in America, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Our Mission

Over 92% of all Christian giving worldwide goes to minister to the 8% of the world that speaks English. FaithCamp is designed to raise awareness of the fact that there is still a need for missionaries, both for the lost and for the joy of those that know and are in a saving relationship with Christ.

Our goal with FaithCamp is to raise awareness of the need of foreign missions and bring a reality to that need with stories of people whose lives have been changed by someone actually going to them and introducing them to their Savior personally.

Our desire is to see everyone who knows Christ get involved with His heart’s mission to extend the knowledge of His grace to regions in which His name is not known and in which there is no one to tell them.

Faith & Missions

It takes a lot of faith to obey Christ’s command to “Go into all the world” when over 3 billion people still have no access to the Gospel. But faith is the key to unlocking heaven’s storehouse. And so faith is the central theme of FaithCamp.

And now that we have been living in this message for over 15 years, we are seeing that it applies to anyone who takes God at His word, steps out on the promises, and ventures out to cross the oceans to the dark places of the earth.

That’s why our speakers are chosen from those that have experienced the miracles of God’s provision as they take big steps of faith for the sake of the lost. Most of these are normal, everyday people who just hear God’s voice and are willing to be taught and led by Him.

We are to encourage in one another that living faith which Christ has made it possible for every believer to have. The work is to be carried forward as the Lord prepares the way. When He brings His people into strait places, then it is their privilege to assemble together for prayer, remembering that all things come of God. Those who have not yet shared in the trying experiences that attend the work in these last days will soon have to pass through scenes that will severely test their confidence in God. It is at the time His people see no way to advance, when the Red Sea is before them and the pursuing army behind, that God bids them: “Go forward.” Thus He is working to test their faith. When such experiences come to you, go forward, trusting in Christ. Walk step by step in the path He marks out. Trials will come, but go forward. This will give you an experience that will strengthen your faith in God and fit you for truest service.” —(Testimonies for the Church 9:273.)
